Kimberly Gire, Founder - Global Women Leaders

Kimberly Gire is the Founder and Chair of Global Women Leaders Strategic Philanthropy, contributing her professional skills and experience in capital markets, treasury, structured finance, risk management and philanthropy to support humanitarian, development, climate and women’s organizations globally.

A strategic philanthropist, she is committed to creating sustainable solutions for issues facing women and girls, children and youth, by bringing together women leaders and partners across public and private sectors to help future-proof global development.

A career banking and finance senior executive, she was previously the Chief Financial Officer for the retail, business and private banking divisions of Westpac Banking Corporation and has worked extensively in the international capital markets with Westpac and Citi.

Kimberly is Co-Chair of the Centre for Disaster Protection, Chair of the Centre for Global Equality at Cambridge and a member of the High-Level Steering Group for the Education Outcomes Fund hosted by UNICEF, a pro bono Special Advisor to the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Presidential Centre for Women and Development, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Swisscross Foundation and the Global Schools Forum.
